Rana Parween

Dr. Rana Parween is a Senior lecturer at University Centre Askham Bryan (UK). She holds a PhD focused on Traditional Knowledge and Practices. Rana is a specialist in the field of Animal Management and focuses her research in Complimentary/ Alternative Therapies, Sustainability, and Conservation related areas. Some of the areas of Rana’s keen interest are importance of Traditional Practices and Indigenous Knowledge. Rana is also working for UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education as a subject specialist/ reviewer. Rana has been teaching microbiology, parasitology and sustainability for the last ten years and has written several modules related to the aforementioned subjects, for both undergraduate and post graduate courses. With her multilingual capabilities, Rana is a strong advocate of preserving traditional knowledge and skills as well as sustainable development in both developed and developing countries. 

Ching-Liang Hsieh

China Medical University, Taiwan

Ching-Liang Hsieh graduated from the School of Chinese Medicine, China Medical University (CMU), Taichung City, Taiwan, in 1978 with a Bachelor of Medicine. He is licensed in both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Currently a professor, the director of Research Center for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, and the Graduate Institute of Integrated Medicine at CMU and the Center for Clinical Trials in Chinese Medicine, and an attending physician at CMU Hospital in Taichung, he is an editorial board member of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine and an associate editorial board member of the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine. Professor Hsieh has two PhD degrees: one from Kyushu University, Japan (1995), and one from Guangzhou Chinese Medicine University, China (2004). He was previously Vice Dean of College of Chinese Medicine, the director of the School of Chinese Medicine, Graduate Institute of Chinese Medical Science and Acupuncture Science, International Master Course of Acupuncture, Acupuncture Research Center at CMU; deputy superintendent at CMU Hospital; and professor at Chang Gung University. He has published more than 200 papers. 

Robert Hoss

Director of Dream Science Foundation, 

Robert Hoss, M.S. is the International Conference Director and Past President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, from which he received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021. He also directs the Dream Science Foundation for co-funding dream research grants. He is a member of APA, on the research committee of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, a Haden Institute faculty instructor and on the board of the National Institute for Integrative Healthcare. He and his wife, Lynne Hoss, M.A. Clinical Psychology, CEHP, developed the Dream to Freedom protocol. They authored the handbook Dream to Freedom (EP Press) extracts of which have been published in two other clinical manuals and three peer reviewed journals. Mr Hoss is author/editor of four books including the two volume Dreams: Understanding Biology, Psychology & Culture (Greenwood) plus a chapter author in eight other books as well as a number of peer reviewed journal publications.  www.dreamscience.org

Emirate Professor at Medical University of Pécs in Hungary

Prof. Tibor Hajto, MD, PhD. has dedicated the last 40 years of his life to the rapidly developing fields of modern biology and tumor immunology, including running an extensive clinical practice. Recently retired as the emirate professor at Medical University of Pécs in Hungary. Prof. Hajto is international recognized in the field of clinical tumor immunology and he is widely published in various international journals and books.
