Lubna Daraz

Dr. Lubna Daraz is an Assistant Professor and an Implementation Scientist in the School of Library and Information Science, at the prestigious University of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is also an affiliated Researcher at the Centre de recherche en santé publique (CReSP), Quebec. Prior to joining the university, she was an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Research Fellow at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. Dr. Daraz possess competence in the fields of Evidence-based Practice, Knowledge Translation, Digital Health Literacy, Health Equity, Health Informatics, and Implementation Science. Her passion extends to developing and implementing interventions to combat mis- and disinformation (MIDI) on digital platforms for patients, caregivers and online health and medical information developers.
